AIM Completes New Honda Testing Requirements

AIM Computer Solutions, a recognized leader in specialized software for the Automotive Supplier Community, has received its approval for Honda North America’s EDI and Bar Code Software update testing for 2013.

“This test demonstrates that AIM’s EDI and bar coding system has been modified to meet the new Honda requirements as defined by their 2013 Honda EDI & Bar Code Label Implementation Requirements Document,” says Jerry Czernel, VP Operations for AIM.  “It is also an example of our EDI/Bar Code Perpetual Warranty program at work,” continued Czernel.  “Our existing Honda EDI and Bar Code Label users paid nothing… zero… to get this major change for their Honda customer.  The software is delivered, pre-mapped and tested to the AIM customer.”

“We are excited about our long term relationship with key OEMs like Honda, Toyota, GM, Chrysler, Ford and others, and look forward to providing the continued and expanded services to automotive suppliers who need a trusted EDI and ERP provider,” concluded Czernel.

The deadline for the Honda requirement was not until Labor Day (September 3, 2013) this year, but AIM wanted to complete the task early for its customers to have an option to implement the changes well before the due date.  Due to AIM’s unique FAST DELIVER program, the change was installed in a matter of minutes to their customers.
